Cruinniú na nÓg is a a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18. It takes place each year in June, and did you know that Ireland is the first, and only, country in the world to have a national day like this? Young people and families have come together to enjoy, a wide range of creative activities including exhibitions, workshops and tutorials to recitals and readings in every city, town and village across the country.
Students in 3rd – 6th Year can apply to be part of the exhibition. We want you to create an image of how “AI is All Around Us”.
New Closing date for image submissions: 19 May 2025, 12.00
You can be creative in any way you like – drawing, painting, photography, digital art or something else. We just ask that you don’t use AI tools to make your image – we want to see your human creativity coming through!
Unleash Your Creativity: Artificial Intelligence is All Around Us
The Bigger Picture: AI is All Around Us is a new art exhibition made by teens, for teens and we want YOUR artistic take on what Artificial Intelligence (AI) really means to people today.
We’re talking about how AI is woven into everything around us, from the music and videos that are recommended on your streaming service and even the filters you use to level up your selfies on social media. We’re all using AI more than we probably realise!
Think about filters on Snapchat and Instagram that change your face, to suggesting what to buy online, to helping your maps app find the fastest route.
