We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for students in 3rd to 6th Year to participate in the ‘AI is All Around Us’ Exhibition as part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2025!
The Bigger Picture, the ADAPT Centre, and Dublin City University are collaborating to present this exhibition, which will be held at Dublin City University. We are now open for image submissions from April 9th to May 19th, 2025.
The theme for the exhibition is ‘AI is All Around Us’. We are inviting students to creatively explore and visually represent how artificial intelligence impacts their daily lives. This could be anything from the technology they use on their phones to broader societal implications they observe.
Cruinniú na nÓg is Ireland’s national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18, taking place annually in June. This exhibition offers a fantastic platform for young artists to showcase their talents and perspectives.
We encourage students to use their imagination and artistic skills in any medium they choose – drawing, painting, photography, digital art, or any other creative approach. However, please note that we are specifically looking for images created through human ingenuity and ask that AI tools are not used in the creation of the submitted artwork.
The closing date for image submissions is 12:00 PM on Monday, May 19th, 2025 via this form: https://bit.ly/AIisAllAroundUs
This is a great opportunity for students to engage with a relevant and increasingly important topic through artistic expression.
